To support this wonderful holiday program, offered through St. Joachim and Ann Care Service, F.A.C.T. helps identify eligible families who may not have the means to provide holiday gifts for their children.
Adopt a Family 2009
As families enter the Partnership with Families Program, they are given the income criteria for participation. If they qualify and are interested in participating, F.A.C.T. staff assist with the necessary paperwork and family members give us their holiday wish lists.
The wish lists are confidentially forwarded to the Adopt – A – Family program, with F.A.C.T. making contact with families when questions arise related to their lists. Every effort is made to make sure that families are provided with the exact items that are on their list, especially for the children.
Behind the scenes, F.A.C.T. support staff act as “elves” to do the bulk of planning and organizing. On delivery day, F.A.C.T. Parent Partners coordinate and assist families with picking up their items on the date and time assigned, keeping anxiety low in what is often a highly stressful time for parents.
