How can we help? Are you a parent or family member of a child with developmental disabilities and/or a serious emotional disorder? A young adult who has a disability? Someone who wants to help create a fully inclusive community?
Family Advocacy and Community Training (F.A.C.T.) is a non-profit agency that works to make sure every child and young adult in St. Charles, Lincoln, and Franklin county has the best educational opportunities possible, family support and access to community resources, regardless of their individual abilities.
We teach parents how to resolve problems at school effectively. We help young adults gain the self-confidence and skills to advocate on their own behalf. We provide support and resources to children with serious emotional disorders and their families whose lives are fractured and hurting with the challenges they face. And, we reach out into our community to provide disability and mental health awareness and mediation.
F.A.C.T. is here to help. More importantly, how can we help you?
